After the fall of Roe, extremist conservative legislators in Idaho have enacted and upheld some of the most restrictive and cruelest abortion bans in the country — not even allowing abortions in emergencies to save the health of the mother.

Since the bans have taken effect, more than a third of OB/GYNs have left the state, three maternity wards have closed, and many pregnant Idahoans have had to travel to other states for care. 

The situation in Idaho is dire.

Through direct political action, Bans Off Moscow raises awareness and funds to protect abortion rights, freedom of choice, privacy, and bodily autonomy.

We aim to defeat extreme, anti-abortion proposals and candidates at the local, state and national levels
— and support legislation and lawmakers that promote accessible, affordable reproductive health care in the state.
