More about our mission
After the fall of Roe, extremist conservative legislators in Idaho have enacted and upheld some of the most restrictive and cruelest abortion bans in the country — not even allowing abortions in emergencies to save the health of the mother.
Since the bans have taken effect, Idaho has lost 43% of its OB/GYNs, three maternity wards have closed, and many pregnant Idahoans have had to travel to other states for care.
The situation in Idaho is dire.
Our members helped gather signatures to put the Reproductive Freedom & Privacy Act on the ballot! To read more about the initiative visit backtoidaho.com.
Next, we plan to help the ballot initiative pass by raising awareness and getting out the vote in Latah County.
Through direct political action, Bans Off Moscow raises awareness and funds to protect abortion rights, freedom of choice, privacy, and bodily autonomy.
We will continue to work to support legislation and lawmakers that promote accessible, affordable reproductive health care in the state.
Bans Off Moscow brings together a community of neighbors, students, parents, healthcare workers, educators and all justice-minded people in Idaho to defeat harmful bans on our bodies and our freedoms.
We work to educate and motivate voters through protests, events, and social media as well as direct advertising and outreach campaigns in Moscow and across North Idaho.
