Going on now!

Sign the petition to reproductive rights on the ballot! It revokes Idaho’s draconian abortion ban, protects birth control and IVF — and gets government out of our private healthcare decisions!

Look for signing events — we’re at the Farmer’s market every Saturday in Friendship Square. We will be at Palousafest and the Latah County Fair.

More info about the initiative at backtoidaho.com.
You can also sign up to help gather signature (bottom right of that same page.)

This was a great day! Check out photos on our social media of this community-driven event celebrating whole body health, while advocating for access to health care as a human right.

Brought to you by your favorite Palouse organizations coming together to build a healthier community: Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse, Inland Oasis, the Human Rights Task Force, Bans Off Moscow, Planned Parenthood, Latah County Democrats, and the Sunrise Movement on the Palouse.

We sponsored a movie break for everyone to enjoy a good laugh in good style with all fellow ReSisters. We also raised more than $500 which benefitted the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and Bans Off Moscow. This community is wonderful!

We helped sponsor FREE community screenings of short films from the Abortion Clinic Film Collective at the Kenworthy on March 3 and WSU on March 4 The Abortion Clinic Film Collective presents original works that explore women’s healthcare and reproductive rights in the wake of the fall of Roe v. Wade. This event was held along with the WSU Department of Digital Technology & Culture, WSU Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Greater Washington & Northern Idaho, WSU Women*s Center, and The Vandal Film Club.

Thanks everyone for turning out! For photos of the event, see our Facebook or Instagram pages!

Storytelling Workshop

Your voice is powerful, and now is the time to use it. Our sexual and reproductive rights are under threat, and now is a great time to speak out about how valuable services such as birth control, abortion, and gender affirming care have impacted our lives. This even offered a chance to join others in a friendly, safe atmosphere to share stories, build community and decrease stigma around reproductive health care. Hosted by Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho, and Bans Off Moscow

Wednesday, August 21
at Mikey’s Gyros

Legal Voice attorney Lee Tremblay visited Moscow to explain Idaho’s reproductive health laws and litigation, followed by a conversation with the audience and Q&A answering questions about Idaho’s abortion bans, access to contraception, free speech on the of I campus and the future of Idaho.

Special thanks to our sponsor:

On June 29, we packed the Kenworthy with fabulousness!

Bans Off held a special night of live music and entertainment on June 29 before a sold-out crowd to support reproductive rights in Idaho. There was an incredible line up of local musicians in the BOM Band; DIVA vocalists including Chelsea Byrd, Kristie Mattoon, LeeAnn Noble, and Marci Stephens; drag and burlesque performers from TabiKat Productions; and more–all emceed by Aquasha DeLusty from TabiKat. It was an evening to celebrate diversity, love our neighbors, and reclaim our fundamental right to bodily autonomy, which includes the right to express ourselves freely, without fear.

Thank you to the many people who came out to celebrate our freedoms while raising funds to help protect them! Proceeds supported Bans Off Moscow to help end Idaho’s cruel abortion bans and support compassionate, pro-freedom, pro-choice candidates and proposals.
